AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER: A week at the Gateway to the Galapagos islands

AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER: A week at the Gateway to the Galapagos islands
http://www.guayaquilaguidedvisit.com/book-online/#id=guayaquil-s-city-tour-plus-cacao-farm-guayaquil
early morning view of the moon in Guayaquil

One of the most interesting  adventures  when people  visit GUAYAQUIL, is to  go  to  a CACAO FARM.
Going on a trip to  a cacao  farm  is  an  experience to  remember but  not  only  for the visit  to  the hacienda itself which  is very  interesting  and educational .
A CACAO FARM TRIP will  be our  next  blog. http://www.guayaquilaguidedvisit.com/book-online/#id=guayaquil-s-city-tour-plus-cacao-farm-guayaquil
The environment ,  the landscape... the trip  itself is AN  EXPERIENCE
Sun-up in Guayaquil

GUAYAQUIL www.guayaquilaguidedvisit.com  Is a city located in the basin of a large  river ( RÍO  GUAYAS)and it  is locted at  the juntion of  two very  important ocean  currents:  the Humboldt Curremt,  one of  the most  important cold  currents in the world, And  the  warm  curren t of  "El Niño"
This encounter has as a result a very high  bio-diversity right in front of  the coasts of Ecuador,  and more specifically in Guayaquil.

That is why if someone intends to  go to  the Galapagos islands known  as  a "LABORATORY OF  EVOLUTION" . to  learn  about nature,  evolution,  abundant and interesting ecosystems and biology.
The most  logical complement to  this  adventure should be a visit to  the city  of  Guayaquil  and its surroundings. www.guayaquilaguidedvisit.com
Any other touristic suggestion in Ecuador is  completely meaningless http://www.guayaquilaguidedvisit.com/book-online/#id=an-affair-to-remember-one-week-at-the-gateway-to-the-galapagos-islands-guayaquil

And it is that GUAYAQUIL and its surroundigns offer within a 100 miles radius an abundance and bio-diversity without parallel.
From plains with fertile lands, very long (seemingly endless) white sand beaches, dry forests, tropical forests and rainforests, swamps.

In a nutshell the area with the greatest biodiversity right next to a mayor city .
We must also highlight the abundance of reptiles, mammals and very high concentration and variety of birds. ( more than 350 species)

If visitors to Guayaquil have an appetite to explore The Andes, just 125 miles away is the city of CUENCA,
with archeology, in the second most important Inca settlement: INGAPIRCA.

The city of Cuenca located in a warm valley ay 8000 feet above the sea level, a colonial jewel with more tha n 50 churches, its cobblestone streets, its steel-cast iron balconies, its carves wooden portals, make this in turn another great complement to the visit to GUAYAQUIL

Last but not least, EL CAJAS NATIONAL PARK.
an area of moorlands located at an average altitude of 10,000 / 12,000 feet above the sea level with a breathtaking landscape.
Hundreds of lakes as one walks through the trails.

THIS is GUAYAQUIL, and its surroundings
