Traveling to Cuenca is an unforgettable experience. It can be done in one or two days. www.guayaquilaguidedvisit.com
THE TEMPLE OF THE SUN
We depart from Guayaquil very early towards the INCA - CAÑARI archaeological ruins complex of INGAPIRCA located 105 miles from Guayaquil
On the way we will experience the
transition of a landscape of the countryside with haciendas of cocoa, banana,
sugar, to start then the ascent to the mountains, the majestic Andes.
The Andes south of the equator are not
very steep mountains and we will rarely see snow-covered peaks.
Once we arrive at INGAPIRCA we found a complex of ruins INCA - CAÑARI The CAÑARI worshiped the LUNA the INCAS worshiped the SUN. For that reason we will see the two temples and we will appreciate the difference between the architectures of both cultures.
We will also see traces in very good
condition of EL CAMINO DEL INCA.
We will see a UYA RUNA rock formation in
which the profile of a human face can be seen.
After this lovely continue to Cuenca.

To start our short trip to
EL CAJAS NATIONAL PARK
A moorland of exceptional beauty.
Some visitors compare this place with SCOTLAND.
Others with a little imagination consider that this would have been the ideal place to film
THE LORD OF THE RINGS,
Exceptional beauty, beyond words
Sunset in the morrlands
